Play Crownturn

The basics

  1. Create a room with your nickname and share its invitation link. Each player joins on their own device; the host can add computer players.
  2. Get rid of your cards first. Lead with one or more cards of the same rank. Others play the same number of cards with a lower rank, or pass. Lower numbers are stronger.
  3. Jesters are wild when played with numbered cards; alone, a Jester is rank 13. Passing does not stop you playing on a later turn.
  4. When everyone else passes consecutively, the last player to play leads a new trick. If that player has finished, the next player with cards leads.
  5. Finishing order determines ranks for the next round. Before the next round, lower ranks give strong cards to higher ranks and receive cards in return. The game guides you through taxation and any revolution decision.
